The Duolingo English Test is a language proficiency test that students can take before applying for higher studies in colleges or universities. The exam is similar to TOEFL and IELTS in its subject matter since all three tests focus on the four categories of Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking. Is there an age limit for students in order to take the Duolingo English Test?

Students who are 13 years of age or below the age requiring parental consent in their respective country, will have to email a permission letter from their parents to englishtest-support@duolingo.com. The email should contain the details of the student including their full name and email address used while registering in the Duolingo App.

How can the student view their results after taking the Duolingo English Test?

The test results for the Duolingo English Test will be made available within 48 hours of the test. Once the test results are made available the student will receive a mail from the Duolingo Team stating the same. The student will also be able to view their test history and results on the Duolingo English Test website.

What does it mean if the test gets canceled?

If the test gets canceled, the student will most likely receive an email stating the reason for the same. In most cases, they will be able to take the test at another time without paying.

How many times can a student take the Duolingo English Test?

A student may take the test 2 times in all in 30 days. Each time a test is completed, they have to wait for the results before attempting again. This is not applicable if their test results are not certified due to any reason.
